The Powered JDAM is a 500-lb variant of the JDAM bomb (MK-82 warhead) fitted with the JDAM ER wing kit and a small jet engine to deliver a stand-off weapon with an estimated range of over 300 nautical miles (500+ kilometers). Deployed as decoy carrying extra fuel the weapon can fly a distance of 700 nautical miles (1,200+ kilometers) The Powered JDAM weapon is a development by Boeing with the aim to deliver the long-range weapon by 2025.
